I will be featuring a song from this concert (by a different artist) every Sunday in February to celebrate Black History Month.

Yes! indeed. How grateful am I to have been influenced professionally since 1972 by this glorious human being. from Ed Sulllivan stories of Judy, Harry, Sidney, Ethel Merman, 1947 contract for Annie Get you Gun on Broadway, an evening with Leon Bibb and little ole me, to his including me in his personal life too….I will never forget…my love for Leon.

A great artist! I heard him in the 1950's and 1960's. I can't find any recordings from that time, but I bought the CD he made with his son Eric Bibb. What a splendid offering father and son gave us. I'm so glad to find him on YouTube.Â
