I live beside Granville Island and take great pleasure in listening to it’s wide range of daily buskers as I travel around the Market. One day I spotted Fabrizio sitting on a portable stool playing old time claw-hammer banjo with this huge grin on his face. You could instantly tell how much he loved playing this kind of music on the banjo! When I approached him, he was very happy to let me shoot a few songs (and asked for some pictures to send home to his family). Turns out, Fabrizio is from Italy and was here for a few months to visit his girlfriend and play music. Too see more of his story…
