Video #14 of 1000 – The Thievery Corporation – Vampires recorded live in concert at Malkin Bowl (Stanley Park) on Sept. 13, 2011 in HD (1080p).
“This one goes out to the IMF – The International Monetary Fund!” (the most greedy/vicious blood suckers on the planet). The Thievery Corporation put on my favorite concert of 2011 on a beautiful evening at my favorite outdoor venue in Stanley Park. Throughout the evening a wide range of singers came out to perform their latest album “Culture of Fear” and some of their greatest hits.
Thievery Corporation is a Washington, D.C. based recording artist and DJ duo consisting of Rob Garza, Eric Hilton, and their supporting artists, Frank ‘Booty Lock’ Mitchell, Jeff Franca and Ashish Vyas. Their music style mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern, and Brazilian (such as bossa nova) with a lounge aesthetic. www.thieverycorporation.com
