After seeing/hearing The Whigs for the first time as they performed a few acoustic songs in the tiny green room backstage at the Rickshaw, I had no idea what to expect from them onstage later that evening… what I saw was pure “unfiltered rock ‘n’ roll fun that makes you want to air-guitar with a frenzy while at the same time banging away on imaginary drums”…
