Why am I choosing a song that I shot in 2010 (two years before I started this project)…? Because this project isn’t about shooting songs for 1000 days. It’s about me choosing 1000 songs by 1000 artists (that I’ve shot) to post over 1000 days and I wanted to pull something special from my archives for this occasion. Before the song Cyndi comments about choosing songs ‘bigger than her’. Well, this project’s bigger than me. I’m not just posting songs. I’m making a statement with music.

And more than anything… this song is for my daughter Angelique. I love you Angel. Hopefully one day you’ll see the sense of what I’ve done over these 1000 days and enjoy digging through it all to find the depth of meaning, insight, hope and faith that these artists have shared with me through their songs.
