John, I love you and believe me, I know ALL of your songs! I just turned 40 now.
But…when I was 18 in 9192. You boys(and girl) were Motha Fuckas!!!
I know and knew all of your songs from every album. I lived to hear the next Spirit o the West album..My friends and I met you at a silly HMV signing thing in EDM Centre downtown. Gonna say 1991?
I want you to know that there has never been another musician who has made such an impression and affected my own personal life decisions other than you John.
I sincerely hope to meet you again as an adult in the near future and tell you my story of what I was thinking that day that we met::)))
I don't know what else to say but thank you soooooo much John!!!!!
You changed my life…..undoubtedly and forever…good night …
Wow, as a nurse this is an amazing tribute. Thank You for acknowledging the work we do every day, without question. It is a calling. This brought me to tears and that doesn't happen easily. Bless you Mr. Mann.
he's speaking from the patience point of view….
Beautiful song John. Your music has been a part of my life for many years and continues to be so. I think the first time I heard your music was as a teen in the late 1980s. My young son now has a real love for your music as well. His favorite is Venice is Sinking. He just turned 6 yesterday. There were many times of listening to that song with him in my arms before laying him down when he was an infant, many more times that we would dance to it when he was a toddler, and now he loves to listen to music in the car – I bet you can guess his first song of choice! God bless. Music is a powerful thing and yours has touched my life in many fantastic ways.
what a great song
My wife and I saw you perform a tribute concert at the Commodore for a fellow artist who was tragically injured in a NYC taxi ride. We were blown away by your performance and became instant fans. Wish I had discovered your music earlier.
Beautiful! Thank you, John Mann@, for this gentle humor and insight.
