After a wee trip around the globe last week, I return to my local ‘roots’ with a different kind of ‘island music’… This is the title track from Jon and Roy’s recent release ‘Let It Go’ performed in a free all ages afternoon concert at Zulu records. Jon and Roy went searching for something intangible on their fourth recording, Let it Go. Suffice it to say, they found it. Freedom — from artistic constraints, from audience expectations — became a recurring theme for the duo during the creation of Let it Go….
